Siza Water is hiring a Control Room Operator and a Finance Clerk.
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

  • Grade 12
  • Trade Certificate
  • Control Room SOPs
  • MS Office
  • SCADA

Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:

  • 5 years’ relevant experience in Control Room operation
  • Experience in the mining environment highly advantageous

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

  • Inspect and prepare loads that need to be moved.
  • Immediately act on reports of equipment faults, breakdowns and emergencies, according to SOP
  • Complete and analyse hourly reports
  • Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation

  • Monitor costs or expenses to achieve cost efficiencies and reduce waste
  • Support the Transformation agenda
  • Ensure a Zero Harm workplace
  • Adhere to and improve reporting processes for the area of responsibility
