Description
The Professional Driving Learnership Coordinator will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of the learnership program. Working closely with various departments, the coordinator will ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements while creating an enriching and educational experience for learners. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a passion for teaching, and a deep understanding of the transportation and logistics sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive learnership programs tailored to professional driving standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify training needs, curriculum development, and practical on-the-road training components.
- Recruit, mentor, and guide learners throughout the program, providing support and feedback to facilitate their skill development.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, overseeing assessments, certifications, and maintaining accurate program records.
- Evaluate program effectiveness, collect feedback, and continuously improve the curriculum to meet industry standards and learner needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, driving regulations, and technological advancements to enhance the program’s relevance and quality.
Qualifications
- Experience in professional driving and a valid driver’s license (Code EC) is essential.
- Previous experience in coordinating or managing educational programs, preferably within the transportation or logistics sector.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and standards for professional driving learnerships.
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills, with the ability to engage and support learners effectively.
- High level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to safety standards and promoting a culture of responsibility among learners.
