Brief Description
A Plant Manager is responsible for the overall plant / facility management, operations, and maintenance, whilst ensuring optimal operational plant performance and product production in accordance with set KPI’s, product specification and quality conformance of the water treatment plant(s) within the area of responsibility.

Requirements:

- B.Eng or BTech in Chemical Engineering (Chemical Engineering Qualification is preferred. Civil and Mechanical will be considered depending on relevant experience)

- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in advanced water treatment.

- Experience in RO, UF, Precipitation, Clarification will be an advantage

- Previous experience in managing staff will be an advantage

- Understanding of plant health and managing water treatment assets.

- Relevant management experience

- Proven record of satisfactory prior performance
Duties & Responsibilities
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage respective Plant Supervisor(s), Production & Maintenance teams within the area of responsibility.
- Manage production & maintenance team utilization and performance / output.
- Responsible for plant performance and Compliance to contractual quality and quantity KPI’s.
- Ensure compliance and Client safety standards.
- Take accountability for Safety Performance in accordance with the MHSA/OSHA legal appointment.
- Maintain effective administration and control procedures to meet performance objectives, including financial control, HR/IR, procurement, and stock management.
- Continuous improvement and optimization of processes.
- Implement and maintain Financial Control with Profit & Loss accountability for the plant(s).
