Learnership Opportunity: Fish and Seafood Processing NQF Level 2

Location: West Coast, Cape Town

About the Learnership

This Further Education and Training program focuses on Fish and Seafood Processing. During the learnership, you will gain valuable skills, including:

• Maintaining and applying good manufacturing practices, food safety practices in a Fish and Seafood processing environment.
• Processing fresh Fish and Seafood into products for human consumption.
• Working with and interpreting numbers and shapes in a Fish and Seafood processing environment.
• Communicating effectively in various ways within a Fish and Seafood processing environment.

Qualifying Criteria

To be eligible for this learnership, you must meet the following criteria:

• Age: Between 18 and 35 years.
• Residence: Residing in Veldrift & St Helena Bay area. (If relocating, it will be at your own cost)
• Education: Completed Grade 9 with a certified report from the last school attended.
• Criminal Record: Clear criminal record.
• Skills: Good English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Employment Status: Not employed or studying full time, must have not completed a leanership before.
• Medical Declaration: Provide a valid medical declaration by a medical practitioner confirming the nature of your disability.
