Learnership Opportunity: Fish and Seafood Processing NQF Level 2
Location: West Coast, Cape Town
Are you or someone you know living with a disability and looking for employment? We have an exciting 12-month learnership available with a stipend of R 5 000 a month!
About the Learnership
This Further Education and Training program focuses on Fish and Seafood Processing. During the learnership, you will gain valuable skills, including:
- Maintaining and applying good manufacturing practices, food safety practices in a Fish and Seafood processing environment.
- Processing fresh Fish and Seafood into products for human consumption.
- Working with and interpreting numbers and shapes in a Fish and Seafood processing environment.
- Communicating effectively in various ways within a Fish and Seafood processing environment.
Qualifying Criteria
To be eligible for this learnership, you must meet the following criteria:
- Age: Between 18 and 35 years.
- Residence: Residing in Veldrift & St Helena Bay area. (If relocating, it will be at your own cost)
- Education: Completed Grade 9 with a certified report from the last school attended.
- Criminal Record: Clear criminal record.
- Skills: Good English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Employment Status: Not employed or studying full time, must have not completed a leanership before.
- Medical Declaration: Provide a valid medical declaration by a medical practitioner confirming the nature of your disability.
