Vision Elevators is a local elevator company with offices based in Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg.


Job Description

We are seeking a young and vibrant applicant to monitor stock and assist with deliveries.

The applicant should have strong administrative and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Manage all stock into and out of warehouse.

Manage ordering of low stock.

Coordinate and plan all factory and site deliveries.

Perform quarterly stock takes and cycle counts.

Manage branch tools and vehicle checks.

Assist and process any ad-hoc procurement requirements that may come up.

Management of damaged parts returned to the factory.

The storeman will assess the site conditions and inform Procurement of any offloading requirements including:

FORKLIFT REQUIREMENTS: Should a forklift be required, Factory Manager will need to obtain 2 quotes for approval from procurement.

TOG LABOUR REQUIREMENTS: Should tog labour be required the full tog labour approval process should be followed. Construction teams CANNOT be used as labour for offloads unless prior approval has been given by Construction Manager.

HOARDING REQUIREMENTS: Hoarding, if required, must be approved by the Sales Manager and then arranged by the Factory Manager.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • Matric
  • Drivers License (min 3 years)
  • Forklift license (min 3 years)
  • Computer Literate
  • Own Vehicle
  • SAP experience will be a major advantage years
