Job Description:
The main purpose of this role will be the transport of goods from one point to another as per management/ operational requirements using relevant machinery.
Minimum Requirements:
Essential: Grade 12 / Matric
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Machine Operator
Valid PPT Machine License
Job Specification:
Ensure efficient and accurate picking of stock in line with company standard operating procedures within the warehouse.
Ensure orders are picked up once an order is received.
Ensure that necessary totes/ boxes are used and rules are followed at all times when receiving picking instructions.
Ensure that specialized procedures and security measures are followed, when picking in areas. Assist with movement of stock around the warehouse.
Ensure necessary standards of speed, accuracy and targets are maintained, while picking.
Report any stock discrepancies.
Test the hydraulics/ mechanical/ electrical systems of the machine and the information gauges to ensure that they are functioning properly.
