We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Operator to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience operating machines in a steel production environment, with specific expertise in cut-to-size or coil machine operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Operate and maintain steel processing machinery, including cut-to-size and coil machines.
• Ensure the accurate and efficient production of steel components according to specifications.
• Monitor machine performance, adjusting as needed to maintain product quality.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery to minimize downtime.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 3 years of machine operating experience within the steel industry.
• Ideal candidate should be aged 20-34.
• Matric / Equivalent
• Certification in machine operation or mechanical maintenance would be an advantage.
• Proficiency in operating cut-to-size or coil machines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
